About the Nashua Senior Activity Center
The mission of the Nashua Senior Activity Center is “to enhance quality of life of older adults, through health and wellness, social, cultural, recreational and educational programming, ensuring thay can remain active, independent and engaged in their community for as long as possible”. Better Health and Wellness is a priority focus and being involved in activities at the Center can result in many benefits such as improved physical health, positive outlook and fitness.
Wellness & Health classes (Yoga, Tai chi, Zumba and Aerobics), Herbal Classes, Massage, on-site health counseling and related seminars and featured speakers provide a information and support as well as an opportunity to meeet others with similar interests and experience. In addition to health-related activities and services, throughout the year the Center offers many informational programs including AARP Tax Aide income-tax preparation, 55 Alive Driver Safety Refresher courses, Financial Planning and Retirement, Chronic Illness Self Care and Prescription Drug Management. Members enjoy classes in various languages, computers, photography, dance and many other areas of interest.
Admission to Regional Events, like the Boston Flower Show and Museum of Fine Art openings, Theatre tickets and Concert passes are available at discounted pricing (transportation included). Multi-day trips offer a chance to travel to destinations like National Parks, Hawaii, and Ireland for a discounted rate. Popular day trips to places such as Mohegan Sun, Foxwoods, Boston Theatres and Restaurants let you experience world-class entertainment while leaving the driving to someone else.

The Center is a 501(c)3 Charitable Organization funded by membership fees, sponsorships, special events, fundraising, donations, program fees and grants.
